ONE TREE PLANTED
One Tree Planted is a non-profit organization created by Matt Hill as a non-profit in Shelburne, Vermont in 2014. As of August 2020, One Tree Planted has been able to plant 11 million trees in the ground!
The organization partner with selected reforestation organizations in 4 regions: North America, Latin America, Africa, and Asia
How do you plant 1 tree for $1?
Tree costs vary based on region, partner, and unique overall objective of a reforestation project. Below is a simple average breakdown of how trees planted, and in some cases there are additional or greater costs to account for. In those instances we may combine resources with partners for co-funding to make a bigger impact at scale, but you can rest assured knowing that your donations will always go towards restoring healthy and thriving forests.
